The Milwaukee Bucks shocked the NBA on Sept. 27 by acquiring Damian Lillard in a three-way trade that gives the Bucks one of the best duos in the league and solidifies their status as a potential championship contender. Yannis Adetokounmpo now has the superstar teammate he craves.

Shortly after the deal was announced, Justin Termine of NBA Radio shared that Giannis had previously vetoed(2019) a deal to acquire Jimmy Butler during his time with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
